About the Mutants

Here are some pictures of some friends from my university days, which I have altered, to transform them into living mutants!

I used Adobe Photoshop to do the changes – the clone stamp tool is my friend. If I am really bored, I will do a morph (using HSC Digital Morph) from their normal picture, to the mutant picture.

Select the pictures for a large version, and follow the links to download the PKZIPed AVI animation of the morphs.

Mutant Simon

Normal Simon Mutant Simon

Normal and mutant Simon.

A classic example of the mutations that decades of inbreeding will produce.

Located in Australia's largest inbreeding program, Canberra, Simon is the love-child of two wonderful parents, both of whom could have an entire site dedicated to them. Alas, time and space do not permit us to delve into this bottomless pit, and Internet censorship laws prohibit showing such disturbing pictures of deformed humans.

The normal picture of Simon was taken only days before the mutant picture during a visit to Sydney. This clearly shows how rapidly the mutations can occur during adolescence.

Mutant Doug

Normal Doug Mutant Doug

Normal and mutant Doug.

This amphibian mutant crawled from the primordial ooze on Australia's Mid North Coast some sixty million years ago.

Although this type of amphibian lives to an extremely old age, cell regeneration within the body goes through various stages of complex mutation, which brings about its strange appearance.

Several adaptations are noticable: the elongated nose for scavenging food; large eyes for nocturnal hunting; the small mouth – though it can open to five times its normal size.

Mutant Ben

Mutant Druss

Mutant Ben.

WOW! What a Chernobyl Child!

Proliferating in rapid bodily mutations, this dude rose from the toxic and radioactive dust in the 80s to grace us with his presence at the University of New England, where his mutagens have led him to spend many hours gumbying in front of a computer, feeding off the soft glow of the monitor.

Mutant Ramon

Normal Ramon Mutant Ramon

Normal and mutant Ramon.

Also available is a 16-frame morph of Ramon from his usual self into his usual self.

Being the PhReaK that he naturally is, metamorphing this weird beast into a mongaloid version of himself is hardly necessary.

Busy spending many hours being a complete gumby on UNEmush, he has reformed and become more normal than he dares to admit himself. Now returned to Sydney, drooling, frothing, farting, and frolicking in the rain only to smell like a wet puppy are things of the past… I think!

Mutant Daniel

Normal Daniel Mutant Daniel

Normal and mutant Daniel.

Also available is a 32-frame morph of Daniel from his usual self into his mutant alterego.

His eyes get heavier, his head gets fuzzier, and if he has to look at one more little letter on a computer screen, his brain will implode!

Mutant Jason

Normal Jason Mutant Jason

Normal and mutant Jason.

A receding hair-line, a goatee that just isn't a good thing, and a forehead that even most Little Green Men would be proud of, make up this scary but true to life creation.

A former student at the University of New England, this creature has now been all but removed from public view, and placed in top secret positions in Brisbane!

Mutant Dave

Normal Dave Mutant Dave

Normal and mutant (?) Dave.

This sophisticated, svelt, red-eyed, desirable, delicious fiend finds intraveineous gumbying the only way he can cope with everyday existance.

Look closely. Note the red eyes, the toilet-paper about the head, and the unkept appearance… Sexy ain't he?

Look even more closely. There was absolutely nothing to do to the original photo to make this guy look even more mutant-like. Poor fellow.
