Morphing

When Lon Chaney transformed into a werewolf in the 1941 horror movie classic The Wolf Man, the effect was done with makeup changes and a series of cross-dissolves during which the actor had to remain painfully motionless. Only after some half a century and the advent of digital image processing has a truly satisfactory improvement been made on the old cross-dissolve trick. Morphing as the new process has come to be called, is turning out to be more than just a clever gimmick; it's one of the most important video/filmmaking tools of the future.

Mutants

Mutant: a. & n. (living thing) differing from its parents as a result of genetic change.

Not all of the creatures that lie within are a direct result of genetic change during the incubation period. Some are the result of the radioactive rays that emanate from a computer monitor. Others have mutated because of the DNA breakdown ability of copious amounts of alcohol. Regardless of whatever causes this mutation, the creatures that dwell within are to be explored only by the brave.

Personal

Adobe Photoshop is one of the more frequently used graphics programs that is available. The release of version 3.0 with its ability to do layers has allowed much more freedom in the creative process. I usually sit down with the CD playing one of my favourite CDs and let the process begin. This gallery represents most of the work I have done.

Radiance

Architects and engineers use Radiance to predict illumination, visual quality, and appearance of innovative design spaces. I used it as a toy, but learned a lot in the process.
